Become a Big

  • Community Based Big (Peninsula): You will be matched with a Little (ages 6-13) based on location, personality, interests, and the needs of the Little and their family. Community based mentoring relationships involve one to one outing and activities, doing things the Big and Little enjoy together.
  • Site Based Big (Southern Hampton Roads): You can make a life-changing impact during the work day as a site-based Big. Commit to spending time with your Little during your lunch hour once a week at their school to play games, read a book, or even just talk. Call us at 757-392-5155 for an up-to-date list of site-based programs in your area.
  • Operation Big (Southern Hampton Roads): Provides Bigs to children of military families through community-based and site-based mentoring. Military kids and their families face unique challenges that may include separation and loss in addition to the stresses of military life. If you live or work in Southern Hampton Roads, join Operation Bigs by calling 757-392-5155.
